"Um Poste Olímpico" / " An Olympic Lamp Post"

       Já a mais de quatro mil anos, os gregos faziam festas e competiam em jogos para honrar o deus dos deuses, Zeus. E de quando Prometeu roubou o poder, o fogo de Zeus para dar aos mortais, como que Robin Hood roubava dos ricos para dar aos pobres, conhecido hoje como a chama olímpica, que é uma parte muito importante para os jogos olímpicos, que só começam quando a tocha, que percorre desde Olímpia na Grécia até a cidade que sedia os jogos, acende as chamas ainda maiores do estadio olímpico e que fica ardente até a cerimonia de encerramento.
       De lá pra cá muitas coisas mudaram no jogo, inclusive as regras, as competições, e os lugares, que naquela época só acontecia na cidade de Olímpia, hoje em dia vários países no mundo competem entre si. Além disso tem os mascotes, as grandes festas, a premiação e outros aspectos que diferenciam as olimpíadas de antigamente das olimpíadas modernas de hoje.
       Os objetivos dos jogos olímpicos também mudaram, o que antes era um festival esportivo para celebrar os deuses, se transformou hoje em competições internacionais que tem um objetivo muito simples: colocar o mundo inteiro em um mesmo local, competir e se divertir.

Dia do Rock / Day of Rock 13/07

       Nesta sexta-feira treze, não tenha medo, não tenha paz, se vista de preto, graxa nos olhos, mostre a língua, mostre quem é você, afine os dedos, afine a guitarra, toque-a, só não afine a voz.

Roqueiro que é "rock" grita forte, deixa os outros surdos, deixa os outros tontos. Não corte o cabelo, balance-o como louco, pule, e deslize no chão como se estivesse tocando uma guitarra, nem que seja imaginaria.

       Vá pra garagem, pegue as panelas e faça uma banda. O Rock é pra qualquer um que não tem medo de se mostrar pro mundo. Para aqueles que não se importam com o que os outros pensam...... Odiamos silêncio, e odiamos funkeiros. Andamos com colar de caveira e braceletes com dentes de aço, mas isso não quer dizer que não somos bons.

        Brinque, zoe com os outros, afinal eles zoaram com você, divirta-se, e o mais importante: nunca pare de GRITAR !!

"Férias" de um vestibulando / "Vacations" of a student

         Wow!! O tempo realmente passa rápido.......Já se foram seis meses, é claro que ainda tem alguns dias de aula, mas isso depois, porque agora é só FÉRIAS. Mais tempo no PC, dormir mais tarde, estudar men......continuar estudando, afinal, Vestibulando não tem férias (odeio essa frase).
Porém essa frase é certa, e o pior é realidade. Qualquer um que já passou pelo 3ª ano sabe que é muito chato, é muito estudo, e muito livro. Quem ainda não passou, não tem nem o que reclamar, adorava meu tempo de 8ª série.
          Mas também, o ultimo ano de escola não é tão apavorante assim (a não ser que você queira cursar medicina), as vezes da pra fugir dos " medonhos e monstruosos livros" e dar uma saidinha com os amigos. E mesmo com dores de cabeça, sono, muito sono, isso tudo um dia vai valer muito a pena, pois lá estarei eu no meu trabalho, cansado e relembrando dos tempos de colégio e de como tudo era tão mais fácil do que trabalhar.

OBS: Férias, se você leu este post, por favor, tenha pena de um pobre vestibulando, e trate de se atrasar e atrasar as aulas também.

And even with headaches, sleep, sleepy, one day all this will be worth very much worth it, because I'll be there in my work, tired and remembering the college days and how everything was so much easier than working.

Depois de dois anos e meio usando aparelho fixo que dói, é praticamente uma luta pra limpar os dentes, e nem assim pra que aquele pedaço de alface desprender do dente, é um alivio........ que nada.
Quem já usou aparelho dentário sabe que a luta por um sorriso mais bonito não termina tão cedo assim , agora eu uso aparelho móvel, a única diferença é que da pra tirar. Mas não é tão fácil para pessoas como eu, esquecidas. Eu já perdi o meu aparelho móvel, mas agora estou muito mais cuidadoso.
Não perderia meu aparelho se tivesse um como este:

    Esse é o aparelho MP3, que além de arrumar os dentes, toca música , e não se perde, pois é fácil de achar algo que faz barulho no lixo ( foi assim que eu perdi o meu, que não cantava). Além do mas, quem não gostaria de ter uma aparelho como este, que toca musica , e nem precisa mexer com as mãos, basta a língua.

           Joanne Rowling , mais conhecida como J.K.Rowling, estava em uma de suas viagens, num trem, quando como magica, começou a imaginar histórias e personagens de um mundo diferente. Bruxos que voavam com vassouras, e corriam atras de bolas de ouro. E como qualquer bruxo que se preze, tinham também varinhas, que com um leviossa, faziam tudo flutuar.
Ela entrou naquele trem sem nada, e saiu com mais uma de suas ótimas histórias, para seu próximo livro, que futuramente seria muito famoso, no mundo inteiro.
          Hoje a série Harry Potter completa 15 anos, e é realmente difícil de acreditar que todas aquelas histórias daqueles bruxinhos, apareceram assim, do nada. E a autora , Rowling disse até que os nomes Harry Potter ( o personagem principal ), Dumbledore ( o professor e mago da escola Hogwarts ) , Lord Voldemort ( Lord das Trevas), e os outros personagens foram imaginados na hora, e a história também. Só faltava transformar tudo em um livro, que posteriormente viraria filme.
          No ano passado todos os fãs da série ficaram tristes ao ver o ultimo filme do bruxo, Harry Potter e as Reliquias da Morte- Part 2. Mas mesmo depois do fim de uma das séries mais famosas do mundo, os atores não pararam de trabalhar, e já vão estrelar outros filmes.
          O filme influenciou muitas crianças da época e até os dias de hoje, foram quinze anos de magia.

            Joanne Rowling, better known as JK Rowling, was on the train, in one of his trips, when like magic, began imagining stories and characters from a different world. Flying witches with brooms, trying to capture gold balls. And like any good witch, also had wands that a leviossa, did everything afloat.

            Today the Harry Potter series turns 15, and it's really hard to believe all those stories of those witches, appear out of nowhere. And the author, Rowling said that the names up Harry Potter (the main character), Dumbledore (Teacher and wizard school Hogwarts), Lord Voldemort (the Dark Lord), and the other characters were imagined at the time, and history as well. All that remained was to turn everything into a book, which later would become a movie.
           Last year all the fans of the series were sad to see the last film of the wizard, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2. But even after the end of one of the world's most famous series, the actors have not stopped working, and it will star in other movies.
           The film influenced many children the time and even today, they were fifteen years of magic.

Dia Mundial do OVNI / World UFO Day

         Como qualquer outra pessoa curiosa, imagino que você sempre quis ter a sensação de saber : como é ser abduzido por E.T.s? (estra terrestres). Como eles são?. Sera que são verdes? Sera que são seres mais  avançados? Sera que eles mordem?
      Mesmo com tantos anos de pesquisa, o homem ainda não conseguiu encontrar vestígios de vida fora da terra. A não ser que a Área 51, nos Estados Unidos esteja nos escondendo algo. Mesmo assim neste dia 24, nem a NASA poderá nos esconder a verdade. Pois neste dia especial se comemora o dia Internacional do Disco Voador.  Não quero dizer que o céu ira se encher de Óvnis (objeto voador não identificado), e que os aliens irão invadir a terra e fazer uma festança (apesar das pessoas em pânico) .Mas para os medrosos, é bom colocar um capacete de aluminio, diz que não deixa os E.T.s lerem nossa mente. E para aqueles, que como eu, sempre sonharam em encontra-los, aí esta uma boa oportunidade.

         Even with many years of research, the man still can not find traces of life outside of planet earth. Unless Area 51 in the United States is hiding something. But on this day 24, not even NASA can hide the truth. For this special day we celebrate the International Day of the Flying Saucer.
         I do not mean that the sky will be filled with UFOs (unidentified flying object), and that the aliens will invade Earth and have a party (though people in a panic). A Grande "firewall" da China / The Big "firewall" of China

   

É o 3ª maior país do mundo, e o primeiro em quantidade de população. A China é um país que realmente surpreende por sua beleza, e sua história de mais de 5 mil anos. Mas naquele país oriental cheio de mistérios, A Grande Muralha não é o único obstaculo a enfrentar.

         Todos sabem que a China é um país cheio de censura, os poucos que não sabem dessa censura é a população (1,3 bilhões de habitantes), pois alguns chineses nunca ouviram falar em Facebook, Twitter.....No país não existe transmissão ao vivo, eles atrasam em alguns segundos a transmissão, para que assim, seja possível cortar algo que para o governo considera improprio. 

         Qualquer um que viaje para a China ,estranha, pois lá não da pra twittar sobre a viajem maravilhosa, ou mesmo procurar por um destino pelo Google, já que as buscas são limitadas. O pior é não poder publicar as fotos que você tirou na Grande Muralha da China.

Mas acho que dá pra ficar por uma ou duas semanas sem internet, só pra desfrutar dos fascinios da China, as montanhas, os pandas, e os biscoitos da sorte.

A 8ª vida de um gato / The 8ᵗʰ life of a cat

         É muito normal ver gatos em cima de arvores e de postes de luz. E é mais normal ainda, ver os bichanos caírem de lá de cima, e nada acontecer com eles. Não é nenhuma novidade, pois todo mundo sabe que estes pequenos felinos tem 7 vidas. Mas se eu tivesse tantas vidas assim, também não teria medo de me jogar de cima de um poste enorme.

        Mas parece que o gatinho do holandês Bart Jensen, o Orllive, se jogou tanto de la de cima que esgotou todas as suas vidas.... Na verdade foi atropelado.

Para homenagear o gato, o dono empalhou o bicho, e o transformou em um helicóptero de controle remoto.
